Fullstack Developer

Fullstack Developer at co.brick — 3+ years, based in Remote.

We are looking for Fullstack Developers to join our team in Poland. In this role, you will bridge the gap between robust backend microservices and sleek, high-performance user interfaces, while leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate development and build smarter features.

You can work from our modern office in Gliwice or remotely from anywhere in Poland, with a visit to the office at least once per month to meet the team.

Responsibilities

End-to-End Engineering

• Design, build, and maintain highly scalable features across the entire stack, from frontend web applications (React, TypeScript) to backend microservices (Java, Spring Boot/Micronaut).

• Develop intuitive user interfaces and reusable frontend components that provide a consistent, responsive experience for our users.

API & Services Engineering

• Build robust APIs and backend services that aggregate data from commerce and external systems, ensuring high performance, proper permissions, and security.

• Integrate complex business workflows, translating product requirements into clear technical rules, validations, approvals, and exception handling.

UI/UX Craftsmanship

• Partner closely with UX/UI designers to translate Figma specifications and design systems into modular, highly accessible, and maintainable component architectures.

• Optimize client-side performance and deliver seamless end-to-end commerce workflows.

AI Integration & Innovation

• Leverage AI engineering tools (like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to write cleaner code, generate tests, and accelerate your daily development workflows.

• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and implement AI-driven capabilities directly into our commerce platform.

Software Quality & Testing

• Maintain high standards of software craftsmanship by writing clean, modular code adhering to modern engineering principles (SOLID, clean code).

• Ensure strong test coverage across the stack, validating your code against business scenarios through functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Product Managers, UX/UI designers, and fellow engineers to refine platform capabilities, define user journeys, and align on technical acceptance criteria.

Requirements

• Experience: You have 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Fullstack Developer building scalable, production-grade applications.

• Education: You hold a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Frontend Stack: You have strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and modern web APIs.

• Backend Stack: You are comfortable working in Java and are familiar with modern backend frameworks like Spring Boot or Micronaut.

• AI Savvy: You embrace the AI revolution in software engineering. You actively use AI coding assistants to improve your productivity and have a strong interest in integrating AI APIs into software products.

• UX & Design Alignment: You have a strong eye for design, detail, and user experience, with practical experience building interfaces directly from Figma or design systems.

• Communication: You communicate effectively in both Polish and English (minimum B2 level).
