Senior Business Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Gliwice or the Silesia region. This role is perfect for someone with a strong analytical mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a background in software development (not necessarily recent). You will be responsible for bridging business needs with technical solutions, ensuring alignment between stakeholders and development teams.The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, experience working in remote teams, and proficiency in UML modeling. You will contribute to the design and prototyping of modern solutions while working in a collaborative, international environment.

Requirements

• Fluent English (C1+), both written and spoken – excellent communication and documentation skills
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in complex IT projects
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and experience working in Agile teams
• Ability to work effectively in remote and international teams
• Hands-on experience with UML for modeling business processes, use cases, and system architecture
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with modern technology trends and the ability to work in a tech-driven environment
• A background in software development (not necessarily recent), providing an understanding of technical constraints and opportunities

Nice to Have: 

• Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Balsamiq)
• Knowledge of cloud solutions, AI, or automation technologies.
• IIOT, AI, projects combining hardware and software, service desk experience

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and product managers to ensure alignment of expectations and deliverables
• Define and model business processes and system functionalities using UML
• Collaborate in Agile teams, contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and other Scrum ceremonies
• Support the development of prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate ideas before full implementation
• Work effectively in a distributed and remote team environment across multiple time zones
• Conduct impact analysis and feasibility assessments for proposed solutions
• Provide guidance and ensure solutions align with modern technologies and digital transformation strategies
