Frontend Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Team Lead with over 5 years of professional experience in frontend development, including 2+ years in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, along with a proven track record of building customizable and reusable frontend frameworks, libraries, or design systems.

As the Frontend Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers, mentoring them, and driving the development of highly modular, flexible, and scalable solutions for SAAS products. You will collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, and product teams to deliver top-quality software.

Requirements

• 5+ years of frontend development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead role.Strong expertise in React.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
• Experience with building customizable and reusable frontend frameworks.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and automation for frontend applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of frontend developers in an agile environment.
• Design and develop modular, scalable, and customizable frontend solutions using React.js and related libraries.
• Optimize large-scale frontend applications for performance and scalability.
• Work closely with product teams, backend developers, and UX/UI designers to deliver high-quality features.
• Implement and automate frontend testing using tools like Jest, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through performance tuning, debugging, and profiling.
