Frontend Spartacus Developer

About the role

Our client is currently undergoing a major digital transformation, migrating their e-commerce platform from a monolithic Hybris architecture to a modern microservices-based solution. To help us achieve this ambitious goal, we are looking for a talented and passionate Frontend Spartacus Developer to join the team.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing e-commerce storefronts with Spartacus, Angular, and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience consuming microservices.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., NgRx, Akita).
• Familiarity with Hybris platform is a plus, but not required.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement high-quality frontend features for e-commerce platform using Spartacus, Angular, and TypeScript.
• Migrate existing frontend functionalities from the legacy Hybris platform to the new Spartacus storefront.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers, UX designers, and product owners to deliver seamless and engaging user experiences.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize frontend performance for various devices and browsers.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and trends, particularly in the Spartacus ecosystem.
